Beginning of the school year 2014-2015

Beginning of the school year.

I would like to wish you all a great new school year.  
Get ready for lots of work, fun and play.   Our blogspot here is our own little world where you can find all the work we've done in class, refer to for all your homework in case you were absent and check out all the other interesting things l've posted just for you. 
Please look at the title of each entry and see if it refers to your class.

One last thing:  Feel free to comment on any of the work you like, dislike or would like to see a change.  Ne Greeklish is allowed, l will erase your comment if you decide to use it. 

Alphabet Fun

Στ 1   Στ2,  SCHOOL RECORDS.

In our English books, in unit 6 we read about amazing records.  We read some pages from the Guiness Book of records and learned about an amazing sportsperson,  Ian Thorpe and  also learned that the longest running Broadway show is "The Phantom of the Opera." 
Then we decided to make our own school records and we organized games for all the school to play.

Στ1 organized a hopscotch race and Στ2 a balance books on the head race.  Look at some of our photos.

This is a project Στ2 worked on concerning "The Fall of Icarus".

Each group wrote their own version and made a poster.
